Message for potential students:
Thank you for taking interest in World of Medicine's in-person mini summer camp from June 17-20th in the Whitney High School Student Union. WOM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started by Whitney High School students to inspire the younger generation to gain an interest in the medical field. We aim to educate elementary school students on the basics of human bodily function by holding classes and providing them with activities to have hands-on experience and interaction with lessons taught in class. Over the past few years, we have taught around 1,000 students from 8 different schools, and have had more than 20 volunteers in the organization.

World of Medicine is a student-run 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2019. The organization aims to educate elementary school students on the basics of human health and nutrition by holding classes and providing them with activity kits to have hands-on experience and interaction with lessons taught in class. Over the past few years, we have taught around 1,000 students from 8 different schools, and have had more than 20 volunteers in the organization.
We are currently opening our applications to accept volunteers to teach our classes and were wondering if we could be featured through email to hopefully spread the word about this opportunity to gain volunteer experience + hours in the medical field.
