My name is Mark Johnson and I am one of the Coaches for Whitney water polo and swimming. I was on the age group Lakewood Aquatic Club as a youth where I was a Junior Olympic champion, I swam and played water polo at Warren High School where I was a CIF Champion, and I swam and played water polo at Yale University where we competed in the NCAA Championships. For the past 44 years I have been the Head Coach of the Cerritos Aquatic Club and for the past 30 years I have been coaching at Whitney. Our goal is to have our water polo players and swimmers reach their greatest potential in a safe and positive environment learning the skills and teamwork necessary for success. This is the first year we are offering girls water polo and we hope to have a rewarding season.
