Coach Miguel Mendoza enters his first season as Whitney girls soccer head coach. Mendoza, a young coach with a bright future heads our program with much promise and direction for a great future. Coach Mendoza a former high school star and league MVP/All CIF player (Schurr HS 2011), All conference player at Rio Hondo College and Scholarship athlete/graduate from Concordia University, Irvine where he was an all PacWest player and newcomer of the year (2016) brings an excitement to our girls program. We look forward and welcome him and his staff.

Mission Statement

  • To develop great leaders that can overcome obstacles on the field, in the classroom and in life.

Vision Statement

  • Our program would like for future alumni to see our program as a memorable experience.  Also for our players to transfer and play at the 4-year level.

The goal of this program is to create great leaders for the future. The coaching staff will be teaching not just sport skills but also life skills that will help our athletes way beyond the playing field. We plan on accomplishing our mission and vision statements by creating a family culture within the team environment where everyone feels accepted and welcomed. Second, by creating a positive environment where every athlete responds with encouragement instead of negativity towards their peers. Lastly, by everyone giving their 100% effort always. This does not just apply to the players but to the coaching staff as well. We need everyone within our program to be fully committed to our mission, vision, and core values for us to be as successful as we can be.
